Lucie has a deep knowledge of the body, yoga poses and yoga philosophy. I especially appreciate the way she incorporates breathing practices and ends the class with a deep relaxation. I always feel both invigorated and really relaxed after the class.

Yoga in Schools

Making a direct, positive impact

Yoga schools.jpg

The Yoga in Schools program empowers teenagers to shape their own existence with skillful-living tools such as self-regulation, self-inquiry, and self-care. It targets Social and Emotional Learning competencies, including stress management, emotion and behavior regulation, self-appreciation, and strong relationship skills.

The program incorporates practices such as breathing exercises, warm-ups, experiential activities, yoga postures, deep relaxation, and meditation techniques to strengthen awareness of the mind-body connection. Each session creates a safe environment during the regular school day for teens to cultivate mindfulness, which develops into compassionate awareness of self and others, building a sense of community and connectedness within the school.

Yoga in the Workplace

Today’s professions often require work for long periods in a sedentary position, high stress, or performing repetitive tasks– resulting in a variety of health problems, sick time, and decreased motivation, productivity and performance. Yoga classes offer simple, safe, and practical techniques that reduce muscle tension and stress, revitalize the immune system, and increase overall well-being and performance. Offering yoga classes in the workplace is a cost-effective way for employers to reduce health-related absenteeism and increase productivity and job satisfaction.

In a typical yoga session, the students are guided in active movement, breath awareness, mindfulness meditation, and relaxation. Classes are usually 45 or 60-minutes. We are fully insured through Yoga Insurance Plus. Please CONTACT US to begin implementing yoga in your business or with questions.

Meditation in the Workplace

Mindfulness meditation has the power to transform and enliven the culture of your workplace by offering the tools for all team members—employees, supervisors, managers, and top leaders—to deal with stress effectively. It cultivates mental focus, resilience, flexibility, creativity and intuition within individuals, teams, and the organization as a whole.

Participants learn a variety of mindfulness tools, including body scan, relaxation, and breathwork, for relaxing mind and body, while building focused attention from which one responds more effectively to the demands of the workplace. This allows the workplace environment to become dynamic and creative, enabling employees to be more efficient, happier, and work more collaboratively. Employers find their modest investment in mindfulness meditation training is more than returned with healthier, more resilient employees.
